Grand Venture blow mold catalog – 2004.
The Grand Venture Blow Mold from 2004 is entitled “Light up your Holidays”. The Grand Venture Company manufactured blow molded products from 1997 until 2005.
Granite look, marble look, and the more traditional three piece nativity are available. A two piece nativity with baby Jesus molded into Mary’s arms, three individual wise men, and a shepherd holding a lamb will complete your nativity. A small 14″ lamb also available for 2004.
The 2 piece nativity and wise men, along with the shepherd and lamb, were also available in granite and marble. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the granite but having come across the marble in person, but I think they really just look like they need a paint job.
Santa is dressed in red and holding a green sack. For those of you into a little movement, there’s a Santa Claus climbing. Two large snowmen and two unique “Christmas Disks” round out page 8 of the catalog.
Page 9 features two smaller Santas, two smaller snowmen, an angel, and a drummer boy. The angel is available in Caucasian and African American.
Pages 10 and 11 are the real reason you’re here. I get it. Halloween blow molds. A red haired witch wearing purple stands and holds a pumpkin, grinning. There are two freestanding ghosts (one with a black cat, one with a jack-o-lantern), several pumpkins, and a cauldron. On page 11, you’ll see a stack of leering pumpkins, black light poles with skulls and pumpkin heads, five different Halloween disks, and multiple colorways of Trick or Treat pails.
The last page advertises Easter. An illuminated Easter bunny holds a big egg. Shown are jumbo Easter eggs and an Easter basket.
