Garfield’s Halloween Adventure: Blinky let’s Garfield know what’s up with Halloween. Garfield can’t believe his pointy kitty ears.

Garfield is just finding out about Halloween for the first time thanks to a throbbing television program starring Binky the Clown. It’s not so much the holiday he’s into, it’s the free candy. Naturally.

Garfield’s Halloween Adventure: Odie isn’t as dumb as you look, and he’s got an idea of what this fat cat is all about.

Well you know two sacks have got to be better than one… so he gives Odie some story about dogs helping cats and since Odie’s dumb, he’s completely on board. Odie signs up to get a single piece of candy because them’s the breaks.

Impressive costume, actually.

I enjoy going through my Halloween stuff this much, too. I would like to know why Jon Arbuckle has all this nonsense in the attic. A bat costume that fits the cat perfectly? Ok.

Here be me first mate, Odie the Stupid.

Garfield (a classic pick-me girl) decides he and Odie will be pirates. During this scene, the classic line is delivered succinctly, “Here be me first mate, Odie the Stupid.” It’s just ART. Anyway, out they go!

Garfield's Halloween Adventure
The one thing he’s not is a scaredy cat.

Trick or treating is going pretty well, Garfield threatens a nice lady into giving them more candy, and everyone under their costumes is really a terrifying ghoul. You know, pretty normal.

The scary old man!!!

So they decide they aren’t getting a good enough loot collection and see some houses across the way. They take a boat, find a house, Odie throws the oars in the water, and well, let the real terror begin!

Ummm.

SIR THIS IS A CHILDREN’S SPECIAL.
